Na Cailleacha is a collective of eight ageing women artists based in Ireland, six visual artists, a jazz musician/composer and a writer/curator. Together we will explore our experience of ageing, our bodies, our creativity, and how we relate to our cultures and our heritage. Seven Voices fuses images of ageing skin, hands and the stone surfaces of the landscape with sounds of the piano and saxophone by Carole Nelson

These images focus on the nature of memory. We don't remember in grand totals but in concrete details, in very precise sensations recalled just as in dreams; these memories are often triggered by common place, everyday objects, a cup, a hand, a compass; they lead the way to the surreal, the metaphor, to feelings of intimacy, loss and death.
